Elms Farm Cottages mobility aids

Elms Farm Cottages are proud to offer step free holidays in our beautiful converted barns and stables.

We have a number of mobility aids and equipment available for you to borrow free of charge to use during your stay.

If you require other equipment such as a mobile hoist or profile bed please contact us for details of where to hire from and which cottage would be most suitable. We can often move beds, bedside tables and dressing tables etc to provide the best layout for you.

Electric rise & recline chair

We have Electric rise and recline chairs in Stables, Beech, Holly, Walnut, Willow and Elm Cottages. They may vary slightly from the image shown.

Shower wheelchair

Shower wheelchairs are suitable for use in Beech, Holly, Walnut, Willow and Elm Cottages. Please note this type of wheelchair is not suitable to use in Stables Cottage

Shower chair

Shower chairs are available to use in Beech, Holly, Walnut, Willow and Elm Cottages. This style of chair can also be used in Stables Cottage. Stables cottage has a fixed head shower.

Perching stool

We have several perching stools for guests to use.

Bed rail

This type of bed rail slides under your mattress and is available to use in Beech, Holly, Walunt, Willow or Elm Cottage.

Kitchen seat with arms

We have a number of these seats with arms, let us know if you would like one during your stay

Wake and shake alarm

This "Wake and shake alarm" has a vibrating pad that fits under your pillow to wake you. For guests with hearing impairment

Wheeled trolley
