Adventure Land at Springfields
Springfields retail outlet and gardens in Spalding are a popular day out for guests at Elms Farm Cottages, and they now have an added a further attraction.
Adventure Land opened recently and has already attracted thousands of visitors looking for somewhere new to visit. Included in this new play area is the UK’s largest JCB Young Drivers Zone which gives children an exciting opportunity to drive around in bright yellow pedal diggers. There is also a huge JCB slide and scaffold-themed climbing frame. Families can walk through the trees in the new Tree Top Village which has eight wooden towers and a huge 12 square metre suspended net.
Springy’s Beach has a sand play area and rockpool water stream all covered by a huge canopy so it can be used in all weathers. You can try Dino Golf where dinosaurs peer around every corner. Pan for gold at Goldie’s Gold Mine then ride Springy’s Railroad through the woodland. Once you have worked up an appetite you can sample a taste of America at the new Springy’s American Diner.
As well as all these brilliant new attractions there are still the beautiful and award winning gardens to explore. These include gardens designed by celebrities such as 'A Lifetime Ahead' by Kim Wilde and 'Jungle Island' by Charlie Dimmock. There are formal gardens, woodland areas, wetlands, the Senses Garden and the Memorial, Sun Dial and Founders Gardens. There are also Display Fountains which combine music and water in spectacular shows.
