Golf Courses in Lincolnshire

  • December 2017
  • General News

Lincolnshire has its fair share of great golf courses in fact Woodhall Spa is the home of the English Golf Union. There are two courses in Woodhall, the Hotchkin and the Bracken. Both are marvellous courses but the Hotchkin is something special and is always features high on lists of best golf courses in this country. It is set in beautiful woodland and is famous for its bunkers some of which you may go into and never be seen again!!

If you fancy a links course Seacroft Golf Club in Skegness is a great place to play. It opened back in 1895 and has hosted many important amateur events since then. It is a classic links course with the first nine holes heading away from the clubhouse and the second nine meandering back in the other direction. There are 75 well placed bunkers to be avoided. The course is located in an English Nature site of Special Scientific Interest which means that golf, nature and the environment live in harmony together.

Kenwick Park Golf Club near Louth is a magnificent parkland course and Blankney golf club is located within a spectacular estate is one of the prettiest courses you will ever play,

Belton Park golf club was founded in 1890 and is one of the oldest clubs in Lincolnshire and lies within the historic grounds of Lord Brownlow’s country seat Belton House which is now owned by the National Trust.

Boston has three golf clubs to choose from: Boston West at Hubberts Bridge, Kirton Holme Golf Club and Boston Golf Club at Cowbridge on the outskirts of Boston.
