Garden Centres in Lincolnshire
You may think that Garden Centres don’t vary a great deal but here in Lincolnshire we are blessed with a huge selection of them all with their own distinct personality.
At Johnsons Garden Centre on the outskirts of Boston you can have a meal and do your food shopping as well as getting all your gardening requirements. There is also an Aquatics section.
When you visit Baytree Garden Centre in Weston, near Spalding you can spend all day there even if you have members of the family with you who are not really into gardening. They can wander off to visit the Owl Centre or go and look at the great selection of pets that they have on sale. There is a great gift section and plenty of clothes to browse through. There are two restaurants and a play area to keep the kids amused.
Also on the outskirts of Spalding is Birch Grove which as well as the usual garden centre offerings has a great Equine section which just about supplies everything you could need for your horse. There is also The Spalding Bulb Museum which explains the importance of the bulb industry to the area.
The Four Seasons Garden centre in Sleaford is a family run business which likes to source as many as possible of their products locally. It has a newly refurbished restaurant and in their farm shop you can visit Simpsons Butchers who have recently been voted “Britain’s Best Butchers Shop of The Year”.
